The Equities division runs fundamental research the way a buy-side analyst would — sourcing ideas, building models, and defending a thesis to the team before it becomes a real position in the fund.

How it works

From idea to position

01Source an idea
Members screen for companies worth digging into and bring a candidate to the team.
02Build the model
A full financial model and valuation — the same work a junior analyst would do.
03Pitch it
Members defend the thesis to the rest of the division, including the bear case.
04Manage the position
If it's added to the fund, the original analyst tracks it going forward.
